Some must-have apps on your desktop for students and learners in any field!
These apps will boost your productivity and improve your learning experience
So you want to be productive but whenever you sit on your PC/laptop you feel like watching Netflix and play games. Well, here I am with some apps and extensions that will help you boost your productivity & will help you manage things better.
Any. do - It is a to-do list app, the best and free out in the market it has too many features like setting a task for a specific date and you can even distribute tasks between work, personal and other categories. It even has a premium feature that will certainly unlock more features for you, but you can choose to be in the free version and mostly get all the basic features.
Notion - If you like taking your notes by typing them then Notion is the best choice for you. It has many cool features for writing notes and you can even import the older notes that you made in any other app. It also has a good To-Do list layout if for any reason you don't want to use any. do use this.
One Note - Now, why one note when I already suggested Notion? Well, one-note gives you the freedom to write notes by typing them and by writing them by a stylus or using a drawing tab. It is completely free and the feature I like about it the most is that it keeps things very organized. Try it out if you want to write your notes on a desktop instead of typing them.
Simple Sticky Notes - Now these may come in handy when you want your day's schedule to pop up or any other important notes to pop up as you open up your machine. I personally use it to maintain my timetable and to learn formulae. When something of importance just pops up in front of you, you get motivated to do it. You can customize it as you wish you can select it to always be on the top of every app or just on the desktop, resize it, and many more features.
XMind - Mind maps come in handy when you want a quick revision, XMap is best when it comes to making mind maps it has many layouts you can make maps in any layout you want. It even has some pre-defined layouts if you want them they are already there for you or you can make your own.
So you open your browser and start wasting time on random sites. Well here are some browser extensions to boost your productivity up.
Momentum - This extension will give the home page of your browser a very good motivating look, you can add your main goals of the day so that whenever you open your browser to waste your time you will see why you started your day today. It shows quotations too that will help you stay motivated. It also has a cool side search bar with different search engines so that u can search anything up. It has a premium version as well but all the features I mentioned above are available for free.
Forest - Yes, it's the same forest app which you use on your mobile phone but many people don't know that it has a browser extension and it works perfectly fine. It does the same work the mobile app does, block websites from loading while you are focusing. Don't worry if you have to open certain websites to do your work you can shortlist websites that you need.
That's all for now, Go and install them now. Good Luck
